The Origin
The Taurus Express is inspired by the beginning of the novel Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. The Orient Express was an existing train service that connected Europe with the Orient.
The book has been filmed twice, in 1974 and in 2010, and the latest version you can see below. (The film starts after three minutes.)
